The second part is the scratches and the wear in the cylinder walls. The real bad news is that those are too deep for just honing the engine and i would have to go the next bigger size.

It also appears to have a crack between two of the exhaust ports that can cause trouble. It would be best to have a machine rebuild shop look at it before any parts are bought. Could be quite costly to repair, and the money could be better used for a diffrent motor or a already rebuilt powerhead.
